Visiting on Family Day
Family Day visitation is held on Fridays from 3:00 to 4:45 p.m. Before you come, read our visiting hours, rules and parking.
Family therapy
Family therapy brings your loved one and their family together with a clinician to work on communication, trust and the plan for home. A family session with your clinician can be arranged on request, in person or virtually. Your loved one’s clinician will talk with you about how family therapy fits the treatment plan.
It starts with permission
Federal privacy law protects every patient’s treatment information. Before our team can talk with you about your loved one’s care, your loved one needs to give written permission. Without it, we can’t confirm whether someone is in our care — a protection that covers every patient, including the person you love.

Can families visit?
Yes. Family Day visitation is held on Fridays from 3:00 to 4:45 p.m. Patients become eligible for visitation after completing a 10-day blackout period. Visits are scheduled through the patient's counselor. Every visitor must be approved and have a valid Release of Information authorization on file, and patients may also coordinate their approved visitors with their counselor.
Can we do family therapy if we live out of town?
Yes. A family session with your clinician can be arranged on request, in person or virtually.
Will you tell me how my loved one is doing?
Only with their written permission. Federal law protects substance use treatment records, and our team follows it for every patient.
